The Telly Awards was founded in 1979 and is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs, video and film productions, online commercials, video and films.  Winners represent the best work of advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments in the world.

IAM’s automotive TV campaign was developed for the Pittsburgh DMA (designated market area) to showcase Frank’s seven stores on local TV.

“We were looking for a fresh approach to our TV commercials,” said Petrina Supler, marketing director at Frank’s Auto Supermarket.  “Something that resonated with our target audience.  As a third-generation company, we wanted to capture that traditional ‘Sunday afternoon garage mechanic’ and pass that tradition down to the younger generations.”

“I’m very proud of this commercial,” said Jim Matuga, IAM CEO.  “It’s great being able to tell the awesome stories of our clients.  We aren’t in this business to be recognized or to win awards, but when we do, it’s a huge honor.”

The award-winning TV commercial can be viewed here.

IAM is an advertising and inbound marketing agency with proven expertise in providing marketing communications to connect organizations with their target audience personas.  IAM has vast experience in marketing hospitals, attorneys, construction, automotive and real estate.  They are headquartered in Morgantown, West Virginia, and serve the Pittsburgh DMA as their primary market.
